Perodua myvi latest models get four-star rating through Malaysia Car Assessment Program (MyVAP) by the Institute of Road Safety Research (Miros).
MyVAP evaluation focuses on three core active safety, passive safety and 11 items under the United Nations Economic Commission of the United Nations for Europe (UNECE).
Second Automobile Company Sdn Bhd (Perodua), Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid said the ratings proved Myvi achieve high safety standards that also comply with certain protocols Euro New Car Assessment Program (ENCAP) it will also increase the confidence of buyers of the security features of the model .
"This is the second Perodua model after Alza received four-star rating MyVAP,"
"For the 11 items under the UNECE including electromagnetic compatibility, brakes, internal, external expectations, warning devices hearing, the risk of fire barriers, speedometer, rear view mirrors, power steering, front indicators and vision," he said.
