GLC will be sold to Bumiputra's

Bumiputera Agenda Lead Unit (Teraju) in order to implement the disposal and sale of government-owned companies (GLCs) are problematic and are not listed on bumiputera owned companies.

Chief Executive Officer Teraju, Husni Salleh said it is working with the Ministry of Finance and Khazanah Nasional to develop the action plan.

"This plan will be discussed next week ... if approved will be implemented immediately," he said when answering a question Convention Empowering the New Economic Model: A Jihad organized by the Bumiputera Economic Ideas Malay Economic Bodies (Gabem) at Universiti Teknologi Mara here .

Priority to buy the companies, he said, will be given to the competent 1.100 bumiputera companies are listed.

"These companies will be matched ... do not say big companies want to buy all or a small company can not afford to buy up to take.

"We have to look at the company's records to the appropriate size before ... this approach is a large indigenous economic agenda," he said.-utusan
